OK, here’s a suitably spring-like design for March. It’s part of a large series of horticultural studies that I did some time ago, taken from the work of Basil Besler, who was a 16th century German artist, and who produced wonderful paintings of plants and flowers. The design is for the 5×7 hoop, and has 22,774 stitches. I haven’t stitched it out for several years but it should be OK. If you’d like this design file, just drop a comment to the blog asking for it, and I’ll send it out to you.
