Yes, here's yet another one to add to what must be your massive collection of colourful free birds! And I know it’s not quite July yet, but I promised this freebie to some people a few days ago so I think I’d better get it out now.
Yet another one…
I can’t remember exactly when or why I did it but it looks a bit folk-arty, so perhaps it dates from my Pennsylvania Dutch phase. It’s a simple enough design, for the 4×4 inch (100 x 100 mm) hoop, and it’s embroidery only, no applique.
Here it is, in .pes v.6. Good luck with it!
Hi Mia, thank you so much for your special bird! Love the colors that you used! Hope your projects for the exhibition are going well. Have a great week!
Hi Mia thank you, I love your July bird it is super, to add to my growing bird family. I don’t know how you find the time to do for freebies for us, when your exhibition is not too far away again. I am sure it will be another outstanding success with lots of commissions, with your expert digitising.
That is one fancy green bird, I really like the way you line the tail feathers, they look like they are ready to spread open like a peacock. Or, is it an attempt to make him look like he has a Scottish plaid tail? 🙂
He has a very proud stance, perhaps on the look out for a female.
Best wishes for all your upcoming events.
Linda
Love that tail! You can never have too many birds. Thank you!
Oh, wow! Another free bird! One can never see and appreciate to many of Mia’s birds. Never indeed; this one is a delight to the eyes!
Hello Mia
On ne se lasse pas des oiseaux toujours numérisés avec de nouvelles idées
Merci
Hi Mia,
Thank you again for such a lovely bird. I have visited Pennsylvania Dutch Country and other parts of the State. Quaint and peaceful. Your July bird does remind me of this.
Enjoy your day,
Gail
