Well, I hope it’s beginning to be spring where you are – here we still have the odd snow flurry, and the daffodils aren’t even out yet. But the good news is that we can hear the curlews calling on the moors, which up here is a sure sign of spring. In any case, to encourage the season a little bit, here’s a flower – a fuchsia in a pot. I did this many years ago for an exhibition but which exhibition I can’t for the life of me remember. Anyway I hope it will now have a new lease on life.
Fuchsia in a pot – beware the jumps!
A word of warning – there are a lot of thread jumps between the stitching on the flowers. I could have run connecting stitching between the flowers along the branches of the “tree”, but in my experience this stitching is difficult to keep from showing, and I think it’s preferable to have to cut connecting threads than to end up with a messy and imperfect stitchout It’s in .pes v.6 and for the 5×7 hoop. Download it here, and the worksheet here
Thank you for the beautiful spring fuschia in a pot design!! Unfortunately my daffodils started blooming and now we are going to have some very cold and windy conditions, so I am sure my daffodils will not make it. The trees have not started to bud out yet, thank goodness.
Thank you so much! This is my favorite flower and I can’t wait to try it. Your work is so unique!
Thank you love how it is sitting in a cup
Thank you!
Our yellow daffodils are almost gone. The white ones are blooming, but they never last long, so they’ll be gone in a few days.
Thank you for the bright spot of pink for spring!
Thank you Mia! Love the fuchia’s!
Mia, this Fuchsia plant is very pretty. Our daffodils have bloomed and got snowed on twice, now that spring is here, we are suppose to get light snow flurries tomorrow night…
Everything is blooming and looking so pretty..
but may not be that way soon….
Thank you Mia,
This is so beautiful!
Mia, thank you for a spot of spring. Love fuchias.
Thank you Mia!! I love it!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much! Can’t wait to find a place to use it.
I love the fuchsia plant. I used to live in Anchorage, Alaska where everyone had hanging baskets of fuchsia. I now live in Florida where it might be too hot for them.
Would it be too greedy if I asked you to send all of the free designs that aren’t instant download. I tried to choose and loved them all.
Love this design. I would love to have it. Thanks and have a great weekend.
